Role Purpose:

The primary focus for the Trainer Mechanical On the Job is to ensure effective implementation and management of the apprenticeship training program and also the tradesman upskilling program for all OT mechanical trades.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement training coursework specifically for mechanical production equipment in line with company requirements.
- Make lesson plans and determine the best instructional methods for fitting tradesman training and upskilling.

- Maintain workshop tools and equipment in safe working order at all times.
- Promote good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Work closely with Operations Training Groups / Planners to effectively manage on-site Mechanical trades training delivery and assessment.
- Play a key role in promoting the mechanical competency-based training and assessment model for all fitting trade training.

General Requirements:

- Postgraduate or equivalent education obtained through degrees or diplomas from an academic college or university.
- Experience working on complex, specialized stationary equipment in a thermal power plant or concentrator as a fixed plant mechanic and master would be an advantage.
- At least 5 years relevant experience, or otherwise, significant practical experience and on-the-job training.
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and commission pumps, valves, pipelines, and hydraulics of industrial fixed mechanical.

Role purpose

To deliver reliable data insights and reporting for translation and language enablement services, while providing technical-language support for English–Mongolian content and system translation activities. The role contributes to measurable improvements in service performance (quality, SLA adherence, and consistency); supports optimization/automation initiatives and will be pivotal in delivery of Mongolian Language Uplift for the Workday HCM Platform.

What the role entails

BAU – Reporting, dashboards and data quality

- Maintain and administer Power BI dashboards and datasets (refresh schedules, data model hygiene, user access, and publishing routines).
- Conduct complex Excel-based reconciliation and cross-checking (multi-source extracts, pivots, advanced formulas) to validate metrics and identify anomalies.
- Monitor translation pipeline performance, SLA/throughput metrics, and quality indicators; prepare regular status updates and insights for stakeholders.
- Support ongoing Workday/People platform translation BAU updates (tracking changes, logging items, validating translated strings and in-context UI outputs where required).

Projects – Business improvement and automation

- Build and enhance Power BI reports (data modelling, DAX measures, Power Query transformations) to support decision-making and service governance.
- Partner with process owners to define requirements, translate them into datasets/visuals, and iterate based on feedback.
- Contribute to optimisation initiatives (standardised templates, automated checks, repeatable dashboards, and improved data capture).
- Support testing/UAT and go-live activities for translation or platform changes (test evidence, defect logging, validation of outputs).

What you will need for this role
