I spent my spring break with fellow colleagues from the Project Management Institute celebrating togetherness and diversity of our global community in Madrid, Spain.

We are living in a unique world where 5 generations collaborating together on projects. as a global platform of millions of professionals across continents continuously working to empower these 5 generations of change makers to turn ideas into reality. I’m thrilled to be a part of this collective goal. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

I spoke for over 10000 11th graders, 2000 teachers/parents in the Philippines last Friday on behalf of Project Management Institute & Project Management Institute Educational Foundation. PMIEF has been working closely with the Junior Achievement (JA) Philippines to provide insights as to the importance of having project management as a vital skill for leadership and career readiness.

I had such a great time engaging with the youngins as this was my third time speaking for the people nationwide in the Philippines. Thank you for always welcoming me with warmth and generosity.

Speech Title: “Cultivating Sustainability Champions in Project Management”

Khulan Batkhuyag will give a speech on “Cultivating Sustainability Champions in Project Management”. She will illustrate a pragmatic approach on how to orient the projects around the world towards the needs of sustainable development.

Khulan is the first Mongolian TED speaker and a regular guest speaker at nationwide project management conferences and symposiums in Southeast Asian countries. She also helps consumers, businesses and countries create healthier and earth-friendly behavioral changes.

Khulan Batkhuyag is a communication strategist who began her career consulting for commercial businesses on branding and marketing. During her eight years of service in the private sector, she worked as a marketing consultant for companies in health management, retail, banking and finance. She also consulted on a development projects communication program for a state-owned enterprise during its IPO.

After working in the private sector, she focused on knowledge sharing as an influential tool to help consumers create healthier and earth-friendly behavioural changes. Outside work, she has been voluntarily advocating project management knowledge and building a project managers community in Mongolia to support young professionals’ sustainability in the country. Khulan is on a mission to deliver effective communication programs designed to advocate for sustainable development in emerging countries. She is a regular guest speaker at nationwide project management conferences and symposiums in Southeast Asian countries.

Khulan will be a presenting via video from Mongolia at our Wellington Symposia February 2nd 2022 on Cultivating Change Makers in the Public Sector.
