Japan develops plastic that disappears within hours in the sea and boosts soil health.

Scientists at Japan's RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science have pioneered a game-changing biodegradable plastic that dissolves in seawater within hours, drastically mitigating pollution risks.

China Discovers “Limitless” Thorium Energy

China has reportedly uncovered a massive thorium deposit at the Bayan Obo mining complex in Inner Mongolia, which could potentially supply the country’s energy needs for 60,000 years, according to a declassified geological survey.

233 thorium-rich zones identified across China, with an estimated one million tonnes at Bayan Obo.

Thorium-based nuclear reactors provide a cleaner, more efficient alternative to uranium, offering 200 times more energy output.

China is developing the world’s first thorium molten-salt reactor (TMSR) in the Gobi Desert, expected to be operational by 2029.

Thorium is 500 times more abundant than uranium-235, with lower nuclear waste and meltdown risks.

China aims to construct 24 new nuclear plants by 2030, strengthening its pursuit of energy independence.
