The Psychology Clinic is made up of a team of warranted Psychologists who have extensive overseas experience and who are dedicated to providing the highest quality specialised care to foster meaningful and lasting change in our clients’ lives. Our Psychologists have years of experience and we ensure to maintain international standards of care and support. At the clinic we use treatment modalities
that are backed by scientific research, known as evidence-based therapies. This is because such treatment has been demonstrated to be effective in both the short-term and the long-term in comparison to other therapeutic approaches. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the psychological treatment that has the best evidence, to date, for a wide range of disorders including clinical depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). There are a number of therapies that have been developed from CBT but that borrow from Eastern practices and incorporate mindfulness. These therapies are becoming increasingly popular scientifically, are used often internationally and can be used as an alternative to traditional CBT. We are able to utlilise these approaches if this is indicated clinically. We can help by offering therapeutic support for a number of difficulties, including –
