Today I open the space!

The founding group for ”The Strong Ground Within”.
A monthly leadership circle inspired by Brené Brown’s Strong Ground, where you build the foundation for how you live, love, and lead.

A leadership laboratory for those ready to stand steady under pressure, rooted in vulnerability, curiosity, integrity, and courage.

This is for leaders who are willing to speak honestly and listen generously.

I am not building a large program.

I am building a room.

A small, intentional space for a maximum of 10 leaders who are ready to do real work.

For those ready to live, love, and lead from deeper alignment.

If you feel both excited and slightly uncomfortable reading this…
That’s usually the sign.

Once a month.�Sunday evenings.�18:00–20:00 CET.
Courage required.

In two hours, time moves quickly.�With up to 10 people, everyone matters.

You will not sit quietly in the corner.�You will not disappear behind competence.�You will be seen.

We will explore:
• Your values and where they came from�• The beliefs shaping your leadership�• The armor you wear�• Who you want to become�• What has been in the way

The series will evolve organically with the group. Depth decides the pace.

Strong Ground

I’ve been deeply inspired by Brené Brown’s latest work, Strong Ground.

Not as theory.

But as a practice.

Strong ground is what happens when:

• Your values are clear

• Your integrity is embodied

• Your vulnerability is courageous, not chaotic

• Your curiosity is stronger than your ego

This isn’t surface-level leadership.

It’s identity work.

And I’m opening a space for it.

I will be doing a book discussion club/group, as per the same structure as I have - and am - with her previous book; “Atlas of the heart”.
The “Strong Ground” will start in 2026, with monthly online meetings, with people from different countries, cultures and walks of life.

It's launch week and I'm feeling deeply grateful for my team, our partners, and for this community. And, there would be no book without the Dare to Lead Facilitator and Coaching Community, and the research participants who have shared their stories and feedback with us. I take my job as the steward of people's experiences and stories very seriously. It's the toughest and most humbling part of my work.

Today, in the midst of deep uncertainty, we are surrounded by examples of leaders that create division and use cruelty and chaos to distract us from a real lack of courage, discipline, and accountability. This approach of power-over leadership is destabilizing and exhausting. And it's supposed to be.

What gives me hope is getting to work with amazing leaders every single day. These are folks who are committed to leading from a place of integrity and who do NOT believe that creating impact and caring for people are mutually exclusive. And — this is important — these daring leaders are people like you and me. You can find them in organizations of every size, across every industry, and they represent many different lived experiences, beliefs, and political ideologies. What they share in common is a belief that power is not finite — that shared power is infinite and drives innovation, growth, and meaningful change.

In terms of AI, I hear a lot of experts trying to soothe people’s anxiety about the pace of technological change by offering platitudes like, What makes us human will ensure our relevance. This is dangerous simply because, right now, we’re not especially good at what makes us human. We’re not hardwired for this level of uncertainty, and many of us feel as if the constant need to self-protect is driving the humanity right out of us. This is why organizational transformation today must foster deep connection, deep thinking, and deep collaboration. We need the courage to lead people in a way that honors and protects the wisdom of the human spirit.

Here's to the daring leaders! Thank you for finding your strong ground and, in turn, becoming ours!

September 15 is one of my birthdays.
Every year I typically reminisce about the time around that day, in 1993.
This year I didn’t do that.
My headspace is scattered in several areas and directions, so I guess I’m grateful for that too; the ability to have variation and flexibility.
I had a very rewarding September 15 this year, many variations in my activities and so I ended on a high note.

Today being a Monday, or as I call it; MEday, I have done as little as possible, relaxed and recharged. And got inked.
To mark the day again.

These 31 years living in recovery still keeps teaching me so much. About Life, Love, Relationships and that it truly takes a village to live this Life.
I am eternally grateful and in awe of this miracle we call Life.
Something I will never take for granted and I thank each and every being that has crossed my path and had an impact and made a foot- or pawprint on me 🙏🏼❤️🐾
