You probably know Ivan as a Partner at Sheltons in Malta, Denmark or Italy, helping clients navigate complex challenges and, occasionally, boring unsuspecting audiences with discussions about international tax.
What you may not know is that he's equally comfortable on a basketball court, in a garage working on classic cars, or supporting local sport as Treasurer of Selmun Sports Club and a proud supporter of the Mellieha Dream Basketball team.
An omnivert by nature, Ivan enjoys both the energy of being around people and the quiet space to think, reflect and recharge. These days, much of his role at Sheltons is focused on mentoring colleagues, developing future leaders and helping the next generation of professionals grow and succeed.
Whether he's discussing business, technology, basketball, classic cars or life's bigger questions, one thing remains constant: a genuine curiosity about how things work and how they can be improved.
One piece of advice from his father has stayed with him throughout the years:
"You can do or be anything you want. Just don't try to be everything."
A reminder that success is not about doing everything, but about focusing on what matters most. And that it is perfectly fine to allow yourself to fail in some unimportant area of your life.
