Through its leading role in EU affairs Paragon Europe fulfils the corporate social responsibility aspect of its fundamental mission by ensuring that throughout its work extensive stakeholder engagement in the community is realised, and important issues are highlighted and discussed thus improving the communities we operate in. By organising Malta Water Week we sought to discussed the challenges the Europe and the world face in the water sphere.. and the opportunities these provide us to step up and improve the world we live in... Our leading Maltese and International guests shared some of the most innovative solutions being currently implemented. Having said that the water crisis remains the focus of the EU and the world... The numbers are staggering!

The water crisis is the #1 global risk based on impact to society (as a measure of devastation), and the #8 global risk based on likelihood (likelihood of occurring within 10 years) as announced by the World Economic Forum, January 2015.4
