We've been quite busy in the lab, and we have a lot prepared for 2026

At VantaPrints it was our first year going from private work to taking public orders, and it's been great working with so many amazing people

Beyond our 3D print farm work, we've been experimenting with multi-material large-scale projects, sculptural, furniture, and architectural design pieces for both local and international clients

Small but mighty 🇲🇹 This deserves so much more recognition 👏🏻 UM Rocketry

Proud moment for Malta and for local engineering talent

Malta quietly entered Europe’s space race this year, and most people still don’t realise how big this moment is. A team of University of Malta students designed and tested the country’s first competitive research rocket, built entirely on the island. The rocket is engineered to reach extreme altitudes, carrying sensors that collect real flight data for European aerospace analysis. For a nation without a space agency, this is a powerful statement. It proves that Maltese talent can compete in advanced engineering fields usually dominated by much larger countries. Professors involved say the project is already influencing STEM enrolment across Malta. This isn’t about launching a flag into space. It’s about launching confidence into an entire generation. Malta didn’t wait for permission. It built capability, knowledge, and ambition from scratch — and Europe noticed.

Metal additive manufacturing is changing the supply chain through faster lead times, fewer parts, and on-demand production⚡️

Saab has teamed up with Divergent Technologies to develop what they describe as the world’s first software defined aircraft fuselage, built entirely with metal 3D printed parts and robotic assembly. The 5 meter demonstrator consists of just 26 unique components produced without conventional tooling or riveted structures, and has already passed structural proof loading tests ahead of a planned flight test campaign in 2026.
