We've spent the morning arguing about what colours these are.

Six new Sheaffer arrivals have just landed: three from the VFM collection and three from the Sheaffer 100 collection, each available as a fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint.

The colours? That's where things get complicated.

Somewhere between blue, violet, lilac, turquoise and "we're not entirely sure what we're looking at", these might just be the most playful Sheaffer finishes we've seen in a while.

Which leaves us with an important question...

The Maverick arrivals continue! After Urban Classic and The Original, it's time to introduce New Men - a collection that celebrates leather in its most authentic form.

Crafted from stunning drum-stuffed full-grain cowhide leather in a rich cognac tone, each piece is infused with oils and waxes to achieve exceptional suppleness and a wonderfully soft touch. No two pieces are exactly alike. Natural marks, subtle colour variations, folds and scars are all part of the story, giving every bag its own character and ensuring it only becomes more beautiful with age.

Among the latest additions are a compact shoulder bag, a versatile 2-in-1 crossbody bag, a spacious laptop backpack, and a large business bag designed for life on the move.

The New Men collection strikes a lovely balance between practicality and personality. These are not products that hide their age - they wear it proudly.

We promised more Maverick arrivals, and here they are.

After introducing the Urban Classic collection, we're turning our attention to another Maverick favourite: The Original.

This is leather as leather is meant to be. Full-grain cowhide, vegetable tanned, generously oiled, and left largely untouched to develop its own character over time. Scratches and marks don't detract from it – they're part of the story, and can often be softened simply by rubbing the leather or applying a little leather wax. Add double-stitched seams and a naturally weathered vintage look, and you have a collection built to age gracefully.

Among the new arrivals are a compact billfold wallet, passport holder, city shoulder bag, business bag, leather pen tube and foldable pen case – practical pieces that feel every bit as good as they look.

And with Father's Day approaching, these are the sort of gifts that tend to stay with their owner for years rather than months. The kind that gather memories, not dust.
