Representatives of Salvo Grima Group and Salvo Grima Rwanda visited the Ntarama Genocide Memorial to pay our respects and deepen our understanding of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

A deeply moving experience — one that serves as a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and courage of the Rwandan people in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Rwanda’s journey of reconciliation, unity, and progress continues to inspire.

Celebrating a significant milestone for Salvo Grima Group.

A year ago, we embarked on a major investment in our travel retail business with a world-class outlet at Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport, launched under our own Horizon brand.

With a 2,000 m² footprint, this is one of the largest duty-free businesses in the region.

In just twelve months, Horizon has established itself as a premium shopping destination for international travellers, offering an expansive range of duty-free categories including perfumes & cosmetics, confectionery, to***co, accessories, drinks and more.

This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our team and to the strength of our partnerships, and it aligns with Salvo Grima Group’s strategy to pursue growth in our key business sectors.

Salvo Grima Group is heading to the 2026 International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW) in Cologne!

The Cologne trade fair is always a standout event for us, with plenty of great discussions around wholesale opportunities, potential partnerships, and the developments across the markets.

Being there in person makes a big difference - it gives us the chance to hear directly from customers, suppliers and fellow industry professionals while keeping a close eye on the trends influencing the sector.
