About the Role
Fast Consultancy Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Executive to join our growing team in Malta. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing HR operations, supporting recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with Maltese employment regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
* Manage the full recruitment cycle, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
* Liaise with Jobsplus and other recruitment platforms.
* Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
Employee Relations
* Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
* Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
* Assist in resolving workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
HR Administration
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
* Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and other documentation.
* Monitor attendance, leave records, and employee benefits.
* Support payroll preparation and monthly HR reporting.
Compliance & Work Permits
* Ensure compliance with Maltese employment legislation and company policies.
* Assist with single permit applications, work permit renewals, and related documentation for third-country nationals.
* Keep up to date with local employment regulations and HR best practices.
Performance & Development
* Support performance appraisal processes and employee development programs.
* Coordinate training initiatives and maintain training records.
Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
* Knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR practices.
* Experience handling work permit applications and employment-related documentation will be considered an asset.
* Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an advantage.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR software systems.
