This course will cover the innovations made by different artists in response to changing attitudes towards the land and its representation.

Course Itinerary:
1. 5th April - Landscape in the Medieval Imagination
2. 12th April - The Renaissance Cityscape
3. 19th April - The Baroque World View
4. 26th Aptil - Landscape in a Mood: from the Romantics to the Impressionists
5. 3rd May - Landscape Art and the Environmental Movement during the 20th Century
