We're Hiring: Drafting Officer

CE Installations is seeking to recruit a Drafting Officer who is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit to join our dynamic team.
The Drafting Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and finishing workshop drawings, working closely with the Engineering and Technical departments. The role includes the assessment and analysis of working plans, from rough concepts to detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and technical compliance throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:
· Generating reports on drawing register status, ensuring all project drawings are tracked, updated, and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
· Preparing and overseeing the production of technical and detailed drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, including dimensions, material specifications, and assembly instructions, ensuring all outputs meet project and industry standards.
· Instructing and guiding Junior staff in the preparation of working drawings and quantity take-offs, ensuring correct methodologies are followed and outputs are accurate.
· Performing and validating quantity take-offs using AutoCAD and Revit to support accurate estimation of materials and resources required for projects.
· Conducting final reviews and approving coordination drawings to ensure all systems (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) are fully integrated and free from conflicts prior to ex*****on.
· Attending and actively contributing to client/consultant and kick-off meetings, providing technical expertise, clarifications, and design solutions as required
· Acting as a key point of communication between the Drafting Team and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery.

Position Requirements:
• Previous work experience in similar is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload.
• Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or a related field will be considered an asset.
