From bustling street corners to quiet everyday moments, Maltese photographer Lorella Castillo has shared a striking new collection of images captured during her travels across Vietnam.
Shot in March 2026 using a Nikon Z8 paired with a 35mm f/1.4 lens, the series offers an intimate glimpse into daily life thousands of kilometres away from Malta. Through her signature documentary style, Castillo focuses on the people, colours and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed, turning ordinary scenes into compelling visual stories.
Whether it's the energy of a crowded market, the calm of a side street or a candid interaction between strangers, the photographs reveal a side of Vietnam that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Known for her ability to find beauty in the everyday, Castillo's latest work captures not just the country's vibrant palette, but also the emotions, contrasts and rhythms that define life there.
