Blue Border Holdings (Malta branch), is recruiting full-time persons for the position of uniformed security guards (Malta based only)
An interesting employment package is being offered to candidates that meet the following requirements;
1) Security Guard Licence
2) Clean Police Conduct (must be renewed every 6 months)
3) Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
Personal Attributes:
1) Have a smart appearance
2) Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
3) Be physically fit to perform security duties
4) Time oriented
5) Have basic computer knowledge

It is always a pleasure to work hand in hand with a client that values the importance of protecting its assets and the assets of its clients.

Practice makes perfect which is why if something is important, you have to drill it again and again. Last week we held another drill in fulfilment of our ISPS obligations.

The table top drill and practical exercise tested the proficiency and response of the port facility infrastructure, security officers and MMH staff, as well as the communications efficacy between the relevant parties.

Thanks to all our staff, Blue Border Holdings, and the Authorities for taking the drill very seriously, and for helping us keep safe.

Candidates with a military or similar background will be given priority however, all applications will be considered.
The Security Guard will be required to;
• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
• Provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards
• Remain in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
• Protect the client’s assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations
Prospective candidates must provide;
1) Security Guard Licence
2) Clean Police Conduct (must be renewed every 6 months)
3) Trauma Medical Certificates (FPOS-I/ TCCC/ CLS or equivalent)
4) Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
