MTiPX founder Arch. Mais Taha won EuroFM Best Industry Initiative 2025 for the research presented in EuroFM Conference 2014. Proving that even when innovation is a head of time persistence and strategy move it from applied academic environments to blue markets.

MTiPX started operating for less than 34 months and the global presence was celebrated by the most prestigious and credible bodies pan-EU organization and across industries and continents.

Jordanian architect-engineer and innovation pioneer Mais Taha has received dual international recognition in Europe for her workplace culture platform, XUKRA, marking a milestone for Middle Eastern-led innovation on the global stage.

Taha’s platform was named Best Industry Initiative at the EuroFM Awards 2025 in Trondheim, Norway, and received a Certificate of Recognition at the 10th Greening the Islands (GTI) Awards in Gozo, Malta. The awards celebrate XUKRA’s contribution to redefining how organisations measure human value, social sustainability, and performance, according to a statement sent to the Jordan Times.

The consecutive honours underscore a growing international shift toward people-centred systems in both organisational leadership and the built environment.

The European recognitions follow Taha’s 2024 designation as a Digital Change-Maker by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for her work on iPX | XEROWASTE, an environmental technology framework. Together, these accolades highlight Taha’s ability to scale innovation across sectors, from environmental technologies to what she calls the “social infrastructure” of modern workplaces.

Taha has developed three process-based platforms under the iPX framework—XEROWASTE, REMEmed, and XUKRA—all of which have achieved international recognition within the EMEA entrepreneurship ecosystem.

“Technology alone is not enough,” Taha said. “Gratitude and appreciation are what allow people to flourish. When workplaces are built on these values, conflict decreases, innovation grows, and societies become more resilient.”

Measuring Human Factor

XUKRA, named after the Arabic word for gratitude, offers a structured methodology for evaluating human-centred values within organisations. Developed through research at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and copyrighted in Switzerland, the platform replaces traditional Return on Investment (ROI) models with what Taha calls Value on Investment (VOI).

The VOI framework quantifies intangible concepts such as appreciation, inclusion, and belonging, producing measurable data aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and ESG reporting systems.

“Workplaces should not exhaust people; they should elevate them,” Taha said. “We are moving from operational efficiency toward human resilience.”

At the EuroFM Conference in Trondheim, judges praised XUKRA for advancing the facilities management profession beyond technical maintenance to focus on organisational well-being and productivity. EuroFM recognised the platform for bridging architectural design with psychological safety and workplace culture.

In Malta, the Greening the Islands Awards jury highlighted XUKRA’s contribution to social sustainability, noting its “auto-audited” systems that help organisations avoid greenwashing and social-washing while strengthening the social pillar of ESG compliance.

⚠️ Your biggest leak is not money, it is people.

The wrong ones drain your energy, waste your time, and normalize bad habits.

They make procrastination feel fun and mediocrity feel safe.

They will clap for your comfort and get quiet when you start changing.

Pay attention.

If every conversation turns negative, if every plan turns into nothing, if you always feel heavier after seeing them, that is not friendship.

That is friction.

Guard your circle.

Protect your peace.

You can outwork a lot of things, but you cannot outwork constant poison.

Winning EuroFM “Best industry Initiative“ doesn't just mean XUKRA had a good year; it means the founder Mais Taha is now a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the European built environment. It is the bridge between being an innovator and being the industry.
