FERAL DUCKS AND CHICKENS ADOPTION DRIVE

The Għajnsielem Local Council would like to inform the public that, due to the significant increase in both feral duck and chicken populations at Bethlehem f’Għajnsielem, a public adoption drive is being launched to responsibly re-home these farm animals.

While the Council remains fully committed for their welfare, the increasing population has exceeded the available resources and existing environment available.

Following consultations with the relevant authorities, the sensible solution is for the Council to therefore seek suitable adopters who are willing to provide a new decent home for these feral animals.

Anyone interested in adopting, or who would like further information, is kindly requested to contact the Għajnsielem Local Council or our Animal Steward.

We thank the public for their cooperation and support. We encourage anyone interested to come forward.

Join us for a playful and grounding introduction to the healing side of AcroYoga, where trust, movement, breath, and connection come together in a joyful and supportive environment ✨

Through gentle partner-based flying, supported postures, and therapeutic techniques, you'll explore balance, relaxation, communication, and the simple magic of being lifted and supported by others.

Guided by Svetlana Abela, who introduced AcroYoga to Malta over 10 years ago, this workshop is designed especially for complete beginners and anyone wishing to experience the more nurturing and restorative aspects of the practice.

An invitation to explore, express, and better understand the transient nature of emotions through an immersive and practice-based experience.

In this workshop, Prasanna Hambarde guides participants through different dimensions of emotion under the umbrella of Navrasa — the nine emotional states. Through breath, movement, awareness, and embodied exploration, participants are invited into a deeper relationship with their emotional world on physiological, emotional, and spiritual levels ✨

This workshop is especially supportive for those who: • wish to better understand emotions through practical experience
• struggle to fully experience or express emotions
• feel easily overwhelmed emotionally
• are curious about heightened emotional awareness and embodiment

Participants can expect a deeply experiential session exploring emotional expression, awareness, and transformation in a grounded and supportive space.

Join us for an uplifting journey of movement, music, healing, and joyful self-expression at the Healing Fields Festival ✨

Nia is a holistic movement practice that blends dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts into a deeply nourishing experience for body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Dancing barefoot and guided by “The Body’s Way,” we explore movement as medicine, awakening sensation, freedom, connection, and aliveness from within.

No experience needed: all ages, bodies, and levels are welcome 🌿

Anita brings warmth, heart, and contagious joy into every space she holds. Teaching Nia for the past 6 years, she is passionate about creating spaces of self-acceptance, connection, healing, and love through movement. Malta has become her second home, and she’s excited to share this experience with the Earth Garden community 💛
