On 19th February, at Business Doctors Malta, we delivered an engaging and hands-on sales training session for the team at Berner Malta. The session was facilitated by Mark Francis from Business Doctors UK, who brought extensive experience and practical, real-world selling expertise centred around The Art of Sales.

The workshop was:
• Fully interactive and hands-on
• Built around role plays and live exercises
• Focused on real sales scenarios
• Designed for immediate day-to-day implementation

Key learning outcomes included:
• Designing a tailored sales model specific to the Berner team
• Reinforcing the importance of building genuine connections rather than pushing products
• Practising effective question-funnelling techniques to uncover real client needs
• Learning how to avoid overwhelming clients with excessive features
• Shifting from “feature dumping” to value-driven conversations
• Developing techniques to create a strong hook early in client discussions

The great energy and engagement shown by the Berner Sales team, together with their active participation and openness to learning, played a key role in making the workshop both impactful and effective.

The training was partially supported through the Investing in Skills Scheme, a Jobsplus funding initiative aimed at helping organisations continue to strengthen and develop their teams.

At Business Doctors Malta, we proudly support businesses across Malta by building stronger, more confident sales teams.
