UnderDefense has appointed NOUV, a Qualified Security Assessor Company recognised by the PCI Security Standards Council, as its exclusive partner in Malta.

The timing isn't incidental. DORA has applied to financial entities since January 2025. Malta's NIS2 framework took effect this January. Per the Malta Gaming Authority's 2025 Annual Report, 311 active gaming licences sit inside that same regulatory scope, alongside the island's financial services sector. All of them now have to prove, on demand, that incidents get caught, handled, and documented, not just that controls exist on paper. Payment operators across both sectors carry PCI DSS obligations on top of that.

That's the gap this partnership is built to close.

UnderDefense runs the operational layer: a vendor-agnostic Agentic AI SOC that integrates with a client's existing SIEM, EDR, cloud, and identity stack, with a 2-minute alert-to-triage target and a 15-minute escalation SLA for confirmed incidents.
