TBI Business Advisors

TBI Business Advisors We are an independent, business and relocation consultancy firm with offices in Mauritius and London. We take as much stress away as we can.

TBI facilitates, introduces and manages businesses in Mauritius and assists with visas, permits, immigration, relocation and real estate in Mauritius. 1 - Residence, Permits and Immigration
We can help formulate the most appropriate way to acquire residence considering the unique circumstances of the client, their global income, tax liabilities and intentions to operate and live in Mauritius. We w

ill then devise a structured timetable providing clear expectation of the process and requirements. We can then assemble the documentation, make the applications to the Government bodies and assist throughout the process, utilising investment vehicles where appropriate.

2 - Relocation and Concierge
We understand that it is a major and daunting event moving a family to another country. We can provide advice and guidance in all manner of pre-arrival support, such as finding accommodation and a school. We then can assist with orientation services, and even provide concierge services for the first few months so that the whole family is well supported. We can arrange live-in butlers and chefs, drivers and other staff as well as guide on the medical, life and other insurances required and other practicalities such as buying cars and local utility companies.

3 - Company Formation
We can advise on what structuring is appropriate. Where necessary we have partner firms who can assist for complex multi-jurisdictional tax issues. We are independent and work with the best providers on the island that offer the highest level of service at reasonable prices. Formation could be anything from setting up a local company to purchase a Mauritian property, to setting up complex structures in Mauritius and globally for investment, trade or wealth protection purposes utilising trusts and foundations.

4 - Investment and Property
Whether to be used to get a residence permit or just for investment purposes, real estate in Mauritius is very popular. We are independent and work with all the most credible agents and developers, both of which can be very unreliable here, to assist with finding the right property. We provide credible options with clear breakdowns of costs and timeframes along the way. We understand the law around this area and what developers need to make sure that the investor is well protected, from their insurance certificates, bank guarantees to reputation on previous work.

5 - Other
We can take on almost any role in Mauritius on behalf of our clients. We are well networked and connected to assist with all manner of activities. We can certify documents and act as a commissioner of Oaths. We can provide ad-hoc guidance and help whenever required. We can sit on the board of local companies.

Stable government. No capital gains tax. No minimum stay requirement. World-class healthcare and schools. A Retirement Permit from $2,000 per month as proof of income, an Investor Permit from $50,000, and real estate entry from $375,000. Mauritius offers one of the most well-rounded second residency options available today.

Last month, our founder Philip Tsalikis presented at IREX Residency And Citizenship Conclave in Dubai, a leading international investment expo connecting HNWIs with real estate and residency opportunities across the globe. In under 10 minutes, he covered why Mauritius is becoming one of the most compelling second residence options in the world, not just as a tropical island, but as a legitimate IFC with world-class banking, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Key topics covered:
→ The Retirement Permit — 10-year permit, available from age 50
→ Real estate investment and what yields to realistically expect
→ Why Americans, Northern Europeans, and Middle Eastern clients are our fastest-growing segments
→ How Mauritius and Dubai are complementary — not competing

A big thank you to IREX for having us, and to everyone who stopped by to speak with our team at the event.
