Turbine Enabling and empowering an ecosystem hungry for entrepreneurial ideas and innovation in Mauritius. All profits are reinvested in the organisation.

Turbine is an incubator and start-up accelerator that helps aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into start-ups and early-stage businesses into thriving, successful companies. Our vision is for Mauritius to become a vibrant and internationally recognised innovation and start-up hub. Turbine runs four different programmes and a business idea competition geared towards pre-start-up and start-up business ventures. The programmes offer mentoring and guidance, operational support, physical space, and access to finance and networks that entrepreneurs need to develop their businesses. Turbine's programmes are open to Mauritian and foreign nationals, with no restrictions on age or gender. Projects can be from any sector as long as they are innovative and bring something new to the table (a new product, a new service, or a new way of doing something). Turbine is an independent organisation that receives financial and operational support from ER Group and other corporate partners.

What an incredible achievement! We are proud to share that TIBOK, currently in incubation at Turbine, has won the Startup World Cup Mauritius 2026 regional final on 24 September.

This remarkable victory means that Stéphane Bach and the TIBOK team will represent Mauritius at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco from 4–6 November, competing alongside winners from more than 90 countries in front of over 2,500 investors! What is TIBOK? TIBOK is transforming access to healthcare in Mauritius through 7-day teleconsultations, digital prescriptions and free medicine delivery.
