Turbine marked its tenth anniversary this year with the launch of the Innovation Challenge 2026, themed Harnessing AI for a Sustainable Mauritius. Since 2016, the incubator, part of ER Group, has reviewed more than 1,000 project applications, guided over 150 entrepreneurs through pre-incubation, and helped 35 startups establish their businesses.

Selected participants will benefit from an intensive two-month programme of tailored workshops and coaching sessions, with opportunities to collaborate with companies in the ecosystem.

Since 2020, Aprann, ER Foundation's employability programme, has helped people facing barriers to employment build a path toward autonomy through coaching, entrepreneurship support, and on-the-job placements.

The first edition, held between 2020 and 2023, saw 133 participants complete the programme, with 47 launching their own businesses. Among them is Kathy Grégoire, who joined Aprann to turn her passion for cooking into a career. After receiving culinary training through the programme, she started as an intern at Moka'z and today works as a cook.

"From intern to cooking assistant, and now a cook, every step has motivated me to keep going," she says.

Today, Aprann is in its second edition, funded by Oficea, and supports over 250 participants by providing the skills and experience to move into employment or launch their own activity. The programme contributes to the Inclusive Development pillar of ER Group’s sustainability strategy.

As the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open celebrates its 10th anniversary, ER Group is pleased to continue this journey alongside all partners who have contributed to the success of this iconic event.

Over the past decade, the tournament has grown into one of Africa’s leading golf events, co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Sunshine Tour, while contributing to the international visibility of Mauritius as a world-class sports and tourism destination.

This year’s edition will take place from 10 to 13 December at Mont Choisy Le Golf, welcoming an exceptional international field, including defending champion Jayden Schaper, Casey Jarvis, 2022 winner Antoine Rozner and Dean Burmester.

For the second edition of "Telfair, telle fête!", Telfair La Promenade in Moka City hosted the French National Day celebrations, organised by the Ambassade de France à Maurice. 🇫🇷

Supported by ER Group, the event brought together families, communities and guests for a day of music, culinary experiences and cultural activities, which offered a unique opportunity to connect and celebrate the ties between French and Mauritian cultures. Beyond the event itself, it showed how Moka continues to bring people together through places designed for shared experiences and community life. ✨

Merci to the Ambassade de France à Maurice for bringing this celebration to life at Telfair and for offering the opportunity to experience the richness of French culture.

We recently unveiled our three-year strategic plan to 2029, part of our ten-year long-term strategy announced earlier this year, setting the course for our next phase of growth.

Presented to 450 leaders from across the Group, the plan centres on four priorities: investment in scalable businesses with strong market positions, a firmer stewardship role as a national player for inclusive and sustainable development, disciplined regional growth, and greater value creation for our shareholders.

Regionalisation takes on new weight in this plan, with the ambition of generating 28% of our revenue from outside our home market. The plan also sets measurable sustainability commitments under our Sustainable Finance Framework, with targets spanning gender diversity in leadership, electric vehicle adoption, and green-certified buildings.

Every kilometre with 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝟒 𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 created opportunities for the next generation. 💙

Being a sponsor of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, Ford brought the public together for a solidarity challenge on static bikes. Every 100 km completed, helped raise funds to support a young adept from L'Escalier for mountain bike training.

Thanks to this collective effort, five young boys were selected to benefit from professional MTB training, headed by Mauritian champion 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐞́𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐰𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐬 and her team, with the programme taking place at Savannah International Pre-primary & Primary School.

More than a sports programme, this initiative is about giving them the chance to build discipline, confidence and perseverance, while discovering the spirit of adventure and self-improvement that Ford stands for.

In collaboration with ER Group and Decathlon Maurice, this project also goes one step further: at the end of the programme, Decathlon Mauritius will offer each of the five children a new mountain bike, helping them continue their journey beyond the training. 🚴‍♂️
