We are recruiting an Operations Manager!!!
Position summary:
- Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our events hall, ensuring that all events are executed seamlessly and that client and guest satisfaction is consistently high.
- This role involves managing staff, coordinating with vendors, and handling logistics to ensure that every event is successful and meets the company's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
- Develop and manage event timelines and schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors, including catering, audiovisual, and decoration services.
- Ensure all event requirements are met and that the hall is prepared according to client specifications.
Staff Management:
- Supervise and schedule event staff, including setup crews, and cleaning personnel.
- Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure high performance and professionalism.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Facility Management:
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring the hall is prepared and cleaned according to standards.
- Maintain the facility, including managing repairs, renovations, and inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Customer Service:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during events, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Gather client feedback to continuously improve service quality.
- Handle complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of events, client interactions, and financial transactions, with the support of the General Manager.
- Assist in marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and events, with the support of the General Manager.
Event Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for increasing bookings.
- Represent the events hall at networking events and industry functions.
- Create and implement promotional materials and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event management, with a track record of successful event ex*****on.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Valued Attributes:
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Knowledge of local vendors and industry trends.
- Certification in event planning or facility management.
- Residing in the vicinity of Nouvelle France/Rose Belle.
