We are pleased to share an article in L’express this morning regarding a Technology Hub project in Fanfaron Quays.
After successfully starting construction of The Docks project in Caudan, United Docks is pleased to announce its forthcoming project for the setting up of a Technology Hub in Fanfaron Quays with a further MUR 2 Billion proposed investment.
The technology hub will attract companies involved in different segments of Tech including Fintech, Edutech, RegTech, InsurTech, Biotech, DRC and BCP.
As a first step, United Docks has partnered with Mauritius Africa Fintech Hub which hosts some 50 Fintech start-ups in Fanfaron Quays.
Subsequently, United Docks has partnered with the Africa Emerging Technologies Hub which regroups more than 100 professionals involved in Tech. United Docks will be providing free space to Africa Emerging Technologies Hub (AETH)and also to Tech start-ups.
United Docks has already obtained preliminary approvals from Economic Development Board for the setting up of the Technology Hub.
