In 2005, ZAC was commissioned for the showroom of J. Kalachand & Co. Ltd at Rose Hill comprising of a showroom on four levels. The external façade was clad with black granite and the building is fully serviced with central air conditioning, lifts, escalators, emergency power supply and fire fighting system.

In 2004, ZAC was commissioned for the showroom of J. Kalachand & Co Ltd at Brabant Street Port Louis comprising a ground floor and two upper floors.






Commercial building of 3,763 square metres comprising a ground floor and two upper floors. The building will accommodate a showroom on two levels with offices and store room above. The external façade is clad with aluminium panels and the building is fully serviced with central air conditioning, lifts, escalators, emergency power supply and fire fighting and detection system.

In 2000, ZAC made a design proposal for a multifunctional commercial, office, conference and residential building in Dakar, Senegal. Situated on a big urban square bordered by historical buildings, simply composed of four superimposed elements, it was conceived as a very colourful animation of the Place de L’Indépendance and expresses itself as a spectacular urban sculpture.
ZAC’s design calls in materials and techniques for an optimum solar control as well as a complete computerised technical management with concern for economy in energy consumption.

In 1989 ZAC came out first in the architectural competition to design the Air Mauritius Centre. The brief asked for a high quality office and retail complex
comprising basement parking for eighty cars, retail facilities on two levels, restaurant and conference facilities on one level, fifteen floors of offices and a

ZAC Associates Ltd were appointed as architect on the project after the demise of Mr. Fouad Hossenally, the original architect. It is the greatest Islamic Architectural Building in Southern Indian Ocean. The building in itself is a pride for the whole Muslim Community in Mauritius.

The @ Islamic Cultural Complex covers an area of 2,880 sqm and comprises a multipurpose hall, library, class rooms and offices. The library, class rooms and offices are articulated around a central void capped by a star-shaped, copper-lined dome. The centre is equipped with a panoramic lift and its finishes are of a high standard.

In 2009, ZAC worked on the construction drawings for Park Balaclava Mauritius in partnership with Okashimo. A high end residential estate of an extent of 146 arpents comprising of 289 residential lots, a park of 19 arpent and sites for future apartments, town houses, club house and RES villas and including all infrastructure works for roads, pavements, surface drainage, water, electricity and telephone services.
