Duties and responsibilities:

- Develop policies and procedures with regards to anti-money laundering and combatting financial terrorism.
- Develop and maintain policy in line with evolving statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Manage contacts with regulatory bodies.
- Deputising for the MLRO as required.
- Support the ongoing monitoring and resolution of AML / CFT related cases.
- Consistent and accurate records maintenance
- Support the delivery of internal training / briefings and attending team meetings as necessary.
- Communicate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure staff understand their accountability for compliance with all AML policies and procedures.
- Provide advice and guidance on AML / CFT related matters where appropriate.
- Support the business in compliance with both regulatory and statutory responsibilities.
- Review of all policies, procedures and manuals of the Company on a regular basis.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Working knowledge of the legal and regulatory obligations.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Credible stakeholder engagement skills to align with organisational values and behaviours.
- A positive attitude

- Performing basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
- Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current.
- Recording information, processing, and filing forms.
- Preparing checks, deposits, budgets, and financial reports.
