Reminder for citizens of countries in Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas: Starting December 31, 2018, you will need to give biometrics for certain types of applications to come to Canada. Learn more: http://Canada.ca/biometrics.
Note: If you are a citizen of a visa-exempt country travelling to Canada as a tourist or for business, or if you have already submitted your application, you do not need to give biometrics.

Starting in the summer of 2018, when you apply for a visitor visa, study or work permit (except U.S. nationals), or permanent residence you will need to give your fingerprints and a photo.
