The Innovation Sprint, the first phase of the Jumpstart program, proudly supported by MCB Group, has come to a close.
Bringing together entrepreneurs from across the continent, the Sprint was designed to help participants strengthen and refine their solutions to environmental challenges such as e-waste and plastic pollution, while preparing them for potential venture client collaborations with organisations seeking innovative and scalable solutions.
Here’s what Anne-Claire Antoinette, Sustainability Lead at MCB, had to say about the Innovation Sprint and our partnership:
“Initiatives like the Innovation Sprint, which are part of the wider Jumpstart programme, are essential. They bring people together to challenge perspectives and develop practical solutions to e-waste and plastic pollution, reminding us that progress can only be achieved through collective effort and shared action.”
Over the course of the Innovation Sprint, participants explored practical responses to these challenges, testing ideas, challenging assumptions, and shaping solutions with real potential for scale. The process highlighted the power of collaboration, and the importance of creating spaces where innovation can be grounded in real-world sustainability needs.
We extend our sincere thanks to MCB for its support and commitment in enabling this platform for impact-driven entrepreneurship — helping turn shared ideas into tangible pathways towards more circular and resilient systems.
