A must read for businesses. Businesses must start being aware of the impending deep recession looming, and the security issues that this will bring. An interview with Bloomburg 6 days ago by Nouriel Roubini an American economist, said that a recession is likely to hit the U.S. by the end of 2022 before spreading globally next year, conceivably lasting for the entirety of 2023. Many other notable economists predict the same and the drops day after day on the stock markets suggests it's at the beginning. Security wise a recession usually means company's laying off workers, reduced hours, no overtime, depreciation of the local currency means that imports become more expensive putting prices up even further. Increases in crime tends to follow and this not long after coming out of Covid lock downs and layoffs. The mix is a bad one and businesses will become increasingly targeted and need to revisit their security, with a survey by an independent security consultant without a sale orientated approach.
