URGENT: EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Position: Research Assistants (12 Positions)
AMG Global Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, on behalf of Standard Bank Plc, is urgently seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join a time-sensitive SME Needs Assessment project as Research Assistants.
The successful candidates will support the collection of data to identify the specific capacity and business needs of SMEs, helping inform the design and delivery of Business Development Services, including training, business advisory, mentorship, and coaching interventions.
Requirements:
✔ Minimum Diploma qualification in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Development Economics, Entrepreneurship/Business Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, or related field
✔ Experience conducting needs assessments, baseline/endline surveys, or structured socio-economic/SME surveys
✔ Experience using digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare, or similar tools
✔ Strong communication skills and understanding of research ethics, confidentiality, and data quality
✔ Willingness to travel to assigned project locations
✔ Access to a functional smartphone suitable for digital data collection
📍 Positions Available: 12 Research Assistants
📍 Assignment Duration: 12 days
📍 Deployment: Selected project districts based on the approved sampling framework and SME sample
