Its so easy to make money.
Just find a simple idea that people will pay you for at a profit. There is money all around us. If others can make it why not us. Fear not to do what you believe in. If it is wrong you will fix it one day.

If you owned a restaurant and it got burnt would you close it down? If you ran a hospital and someone died in your hospital would you close it down? If you were a pastor and one of your members went to hell would that make you a bad pastor?
Well I ran a car business and we supplied over 100 cars to people. But we lost a few cars in the process due to many reasons.
It was a great business and it made me so happy. It made me come alive. I know that business made a lot of people happy and it helped a lot of people. I know about two dozen people could have had a better experience and I take full responsibility. And I am sorry for that.
So once I conclude my outstanding matters with about six people, I will restart that business. I have never been so happy.
We fail so we can get up and learn. I have my lessons. If Walt Disney had given up years ago we would have no pay TV. If Ted Turner gave up we would have no CNN. If Mandela gave up, I am not sure which South Africa we would have.
I love cars and I love people. I know better and I will rekindle my car business. It made me soooooo happy.
I did not lose $250,000. I got a $250,000 lesson. One that I will always treasure.

INTERNATIONAL INTEREST "RIBA" KILLS MORE PEOPLE THAN WERE KILLED BY ADOLF HI**ER
UNDP (1998) predicted that if the external debt of the 20 poorest countries of the world was written off, it could save the lives of 20 million people before the year 2000. In other words, it means that the the then available debts was responsible for the deaths of 130, 000 children a week up until the year 2000.
Ken Livingston, first Mayor of London, claimed that global capitalism kills more people each year than was killed by Adolf Hi**er. He blamed the IMF and World Bank for the deaths of millions due to their refusal to ease the debt burden. Susan George stated that every year since 1981 between 15 and 20 million people died unnecessarily due to debt burden "because Third World governments have had to cut back on clean and health programs to meet their repayments. "Education is about dignity. Even if you have a problem today, eventually you should be able to stand on your own two feet. There is no dignity in perpetual dependency until the end of your life.We need to integrate in our education system that we are here to empower ourselves to achieve certain things that many parts of the world has taken for granted. It is not just about skills and earning a salary. It is about improving your well being and the well being of other."- President Kagame speaking at the Global Education and Skills Forum.

A Tool kit to fight Ulova (Part 2)

People with business savvy and a good idea, starting a business can outweigh the benefits of attending college. Many billionaires including Bill Gates, Larry Ellison and Mark Zuckerberg did not hold college degrees when they founded their companies. These entrepreneurs have created job opportunities for their countries. They have reduced the unemployment and poverty rates. It was their attitude that mattered not luck.

“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity,” I have heard these words several times from our Vice-President Right Hounarable Saulos Chilima. To get to your goal, you need a pathway than can take you to your goal. It is not a matter of passing through the university but
letting the university pass through you. Seeing other people around you succeed should motivate you, even if they are your competitors.

My friends always complain that I ask too many questions when I meet a person who is running a successful business or failed to continue. And my answer is permanent, “It is my business to see the business side of every business on planet as my business. Don’t worry I mind my own business and that’s the side of my business attitude”.

For instance, one day I met a young man who sells roasted ground nuts (mtedza okazinga) in Limbe township. I was very interested to know his business side .He told me that he charges MK20 per kitchen "spoon-full" and every day he nets K 2,500. That`s equivalent to MK75, 000 per month which is the salary for my good friend, John, an Economics graduate who is an office worker in town. .... ...

A Took kit to fight Ulova (part 1)
Recently, Malawi has been ranked by the World Bank as the poorest of the poor countries on the third planet with disquieting unemployment rates. Traditionally, pursuing a college degree has often been the next step for students after obtaining a Malawi School Certificate of Education. However, with rising tuition fees and mounting student loan debts, getting a College Degree may not maximize one’s lifelong return on this investment. Every year, more than 10,000 students graduate with first degrees, master`s or doctorate degrees from the University of Malawi and private colleges within or outside the country. Unfortunately, our economy is finding it hard to employ these highly educated people.

While our minds are busy debating on who should take the responsibility of this macroeconomic evil of unemployment, we should not forget our own attitudes. Many have asked, what is the Government doing for us?

What the majority miss in their minds is the question of; what are we doing for our country?

Creating job opportunities is the responsibility of every citizen in a country. Just as you feel as it is your right to use a public toilet so is your responsibility to make sure that no one knows that you are in that toilet..........
