BARTENDER OR MIXOLOGIST
A lodge or hotel in Liwonde is urgently looking for an experienced Bartender/Mixologist to join their dynamic hospitality team.
Job Overview
• Job Title: Bartender/Mixologist
• Location: Liwonde, Malawi
• Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks using premium mixology standards.
• Create innovative and classic cocktail and mocktail menus to enhance guest experiences.
• Greet customers warmly, present drink menus, and offer expert recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, sanitary, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
• Monitor bar inventory, manage stock levels, and request supplies when needed.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle customer queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements and Skills
• Proven work experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a busy bar, lodge, or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and bar operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and a vocational certificate in food and beverage or hospitality management.
