Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to facilitate a team-building workshop for the management and staff of KM Financial Consultants (KMFC), a tax advisory and consulting firm.
The workshop focused on Organisational Culture, Communication, Team Performance, Political Skill and Design Thinking. Together, we explored the characteristics of high-performing teams, effective workplace communication, accountability, navigating office politics constructively, and the importance of adapting to an increasingly Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) working environment.
A key part of the workshop involved moving beyond simply identifying organisational challenges to applying Design Thinking principles to understand problems, generate ideas and develop practical solutions. Through interactive activities and group discussions, participants reflected on how teams can learn, unlearn and relearn in response to organisational growth and change.
It was an engaging and insightful session, and I appreciated the openness and active participation of the KMFC team throughout the workshop.
