A young boy went to a Sangoma to inquire about the hope of his future.

Right before his eyes, the Sangoma drew two circles, one in white and the other in black.

He then put a millipede in between the circles,and said: "if the millipede crawls into the white circle, your future will be bright and very great, but if it crawls into the black circle, then you are finished and doomed! No future at all!".

As soon as the insect was dropped in between the circles, it began crawling towards the white circle.

The boy was super-excited.

But suddenly, as it got to the edge of the circle, it turned back and began crawling away from the white circle towards the black one.

The boy watched as the insect progressively moved farther away from his desire...to his doom.

Then, just as the insect got to the edge of the black circle, the boy stretched his hands, picked it up and quickly but carefully dropped it in the white circle.

The sangoma was in shock; he had never seen anyone intervene in his own matter! Watching all the while, he asked the boy why he did what he did.

The boy smiled and simply replied:"I cannot sit and watch an insect determine and allow my destiny go down the gloom doom! While I can still do something about it, to change its course. My destiny is in my hands".

He got up and left."

This year 2022,get up, pick up, the millipede and *drop it where you want.* The power to design and pilot your life is in your hands. You either sit down there, complain and feel someone owes you something or *get up and determine the flow of your life.*
It's up to you.

LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES NOT EXCUSES

Happy New Year to you all,

Finally, 2022 is here with it's opportunities and challenges. 365 days like all the years. Nothing will change without your effort. Success favours those who do all that it takes to succeed.

In 2022, look for opportunities. Look again at the captioned photo. How much money can you make from this one tree. Imagine having 50-100 of these trees for a start. Wait for a year or two and start making money for years.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS

We are in the festive season where Christmas and New Year celebrations are back to back. It is the time when almost everyone tries to be industrious so that they find money for the celebrations. You at least have some monies.
But have you ever thought that you have three options ( choices) with the money you have. Yes, you have three choices.
1. Spend
2. Save
3. Invest.
The choice is yours. You decide your life and that decision impacts on your future. Today you have that amount of money. The choice you make will have the following results:
1. If you SPEND it all on the celebrations, you will surely enjoy according to your definition of enjoyment. But surely the festive season will go. Come January, you will have nothing.
2. If you SAVE you will have that amount you saved and probably some interest if you saved with an interest bearing portfolio.
3. If you INVEST you will have created another stream of money. Investing is planting money trees.

So you see. The choice is yours. Your excuse of " I don't have money" is not holding any water this festive season. You have the money and you decide what you use your money on.

REALLY THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!!!!.

CAN THE DEAD MAKE MONEY?
In 2018 Forbes magazine named Bob Marley the fifth top earning dead celebrity. He has sold over 75 million albums since his death in 1981. In kwacha at current value that is equivalent to a whopping 7.5 billion kwacha. His children and his children's children are feeding from the earnings of there dead father and grandfather.

When you build enough value in life you will earn posthumously. Writers, musicians, influencers can build brands than can earn even after death. Build value beyond physical existence. There is wisdom in writing books, creating courses and art, composing songs etc.. Comrade immortalise your earning.

By the way Bob died a young man. He only was 36 years old when he died. In our Zambia definition of youth he was just one year above the mark of youth. A wise father or husband lives in such a way that if he is to die his wife or children won't be destitutes.

The bible puts it this way a "good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous". (Proverbs 13:22) DNK.
