Mzuzu Coffee Welcomes Long-Time Japanese Buyer
Mzuzu Coffee was delighted to host representatives from Zensho, one of our long-time coffee buyers from Japan.
As part of their visit, the Zensho team came to Malawi to appreciate the coffee they have been buying from us and to experience first-hand the work behind every cup. This year, Zensho is expected to purchase three containers of coffee from Mzuzu Coffee, strengthening the relationship we have built over the years.
During their visit, we took the representatives across all our cooperatives, where they had the opportunity to meet and interact directly with our farmers. The visit gave them a deeper understanding of where their coffee comes from, how it is produced, and the dedication of the farmers who make Mzuzu Coffee possible.
The Zensho team also took time to appreciate the Mzuzu Coffee fair-trade model, which puts farmers at the heart of the business and ensures that the value created from coffee benefits the communities that produce it.
For us at Mzuzu Coffee, this visit was more than just a business engagement. It was an opportunity to strengthen trust, build lasting partnerships, and connect our farmers directly with international coffee buyers.
We are grateful to Zensho for their continued support and commitment to Malawian coffee. We look forward to growing this partnership and taking Mzuzu Coffee from our farmers in Malawi to more coffee lovers around the world.
