We Are a Family

There’s no me without a family
There’s no us without a family
I am well-built because of a family
And we are what we are because of a family

A family is like Haven
So strong but meek
It’s what God planned in heaven
That’s why we are not weak
We are just a family of seven
Just like days in a week
And no matter what happen
Still, we are so unique

We laugh and cry together
We shield each other in bad weather
Though we disagree in one way or the other
But still family brings us back together

Almost everyday we lose souls, precious souls all because of su***de. Su***de is a sickness that is becoming rampant and dangerous but hope has been identified as the jab that boost the immunity in the brain against it. Sometimes we say souls that commit su***de are weak, however I say no! they ain't weak, but failing to have the medication in time makes the brain weak to fight su***de.

In this regard, I want to thank Hope Chawala Banda II for packaging all medications into a book. A 200 pages book titled "I burnt my su***de note" brings along short stories and poems from over 40 young writers across Malawi and Africa including myself to raise awareness on mental health.

You don't have to miss this or have it for you family.

Can you feel their pain?

Most African children are crying out there with no one helping. The future we set today will determine the number of children who will cry in the next generations. The youth of today have the responsibility of building strong institutions that will avail opportunities to every African child. No one will change Africa except us.

Do not let the poor black child of Africa cry alone! Avail your shoulder.

If we join hands a better and happy Africa is possible.
