My 2025 mantra was “find what brings you joy and go there.” And “going there” looked like booking clients who felt like a warm hug, spending time with my favorite vendor buddies (and making plenty of new ones), expanding my circle with an incredible group of planner friends, and planning events in places that quite literally took my breath away.
It also brought me back to my home state of Maine for the summer — a return that filled us with so much joy that we’ve decided to spend every summer there from now on (East Coasters, hit me up).
Maine’s state motto is Dirigo, meaning “I lead.” And while so much in the world feels beyond our control, how we lead never is. So as we move into 2026, let’s lead with kindness. Let’s lead with integrity. Let’s lead with love.
