P/N 805-077 MOD-1 Hood Assembly w/Bib
L/XL 7mm Is Now Made With Softer, More Comfortable Materials That Incorporate Advanced Features
Products Affected: P/N 805-125 MOD-1 Hood Assembly w/Bib L/XL 7 mm and 825-077 MOD-1 Hood Assembly w/ Bib L/XL 7 mm Kit.
Advanced features of the 7mm Hood Assembly include:
Seams: Flush, soft seams are glued and blind stitched both internally and externally, with smooth nylon binding along the bottom edge.
Internal Material: Soft “Thermal Plush” Hi VIS orange interior assists in pre-dive inspections.
Venting: O’three’s Airprene (with Vent Passages) extends to the top of the hood.
Stitching: Glued and blind stitched on both inside and outside.
Material: Super supple neoprene combined with highly stretchable fabrics.
Ear pockets: Molded interior circumference encloses an airprene lining, offering increased durability and better clarity.
We’ll begin using the new hoods once our current stock is depleted. Spare hoods are ready for purchase immediately. Any old stock can be used without issues. There will be no changes to the procedures for installing and maintaining the hood assembly. There is no change in the part number. There is no change in price at this time. No exchanges will be offered. Along with the Surface Supplied MOD-1, the updated hood is also compatible with the M-48 MOD-1 mask.
