An approval that takes longer than expected, a material that isn't available yet, a last-minute change, or a finish that requires an additional process can completely change the production schedule.
That's why, when we talk about packaging lead times, production speed is only part of the equation.
Planning, approvals, material availability, production scheduling, finishing processes, and logistics all play a role.
When these variables are considered from the beginning, there's less room for improvisation and a much better chance of meeting the dates that truly matter.
Because in high-volume production, a good lead time doesn't start with a fast press. It starts with good planning.
