🍻¡RNE regularization program has been extended through 2025 in Querétaro!🍻

If you have been to México at least once in the past before December 31st 2023, your current tourist permit has expired, and you reside in the state of Querétaro, you are eligible to apply for Mexican residency through this special program.

Only in January, all fines will remain as in 2024.

Involved costs would be:

Paperwork reception and study of the case, $1,780.
Fine from $2,075 to $4,170 depending on how many years you apply for, the more years you request, the lower the fine.
Temporary residency card issuance:
1 year $5,570
2 years $8,347
3 years $10,571
4 years $12,529

Approval may depend on how old your entry from before Dec 31st 2023 is. Your chances are higher if you can prove it with a stamp in a physical passport even if it’s expired.

Also, all immigration fees have been updated.

I've been thinking about this lately.

Dear clients, I would greatly appreciate your points of view.

Many people reach out to me for my immigration business by using my personal profile and it no longer serves other purpose than simply share memes and sit there all day doing nothing besides replying to messages.
In the other hand, I haven't really taken good care of this page. I think it’s time to put some more effort into promoting and taking care of the business and my professional image.

Here's the question. Do you all think it’ll be a good idea to transform my personal profile into a page fully focused on the business? Or should I keep this one and put the real effort in it.

Suspension of terms and deadlines for the presentation of procedures by temporary and permanent residents also known as suspension de términos y plazos, is coming to its end.

What is that suspensión de terminos y plazos thing?

Is a special measure released by Secretaria de Gobernación on April 1st 2020 to help those temporary residents who were not able to renew their temporary residencies, as well as temporary and permanent residents who couldn’t notify changes or submit any procedure on time before INM, nullifying every expiration date and deadlines. Usually, you can only renew 30 days prior the expiration date and the expiration date are the deadline to do it. If you try to renew past your deadline, you have to start the residency process all over again. To notify changes of address, name, nationality, marital status and/or workplace, 90 days is the time limit required by law. This suspension allows you to renew past the deadline and to notify your changes past the 90 days timeframe without getting any negative consequences.

Weren’t we already allowed to renew 55 days past the expiration date?

Yes and no. The difference is that those 55 days are valid only if your residency expires out of Mexican territory. With this suspension, it doesn’t matter if it expires in or out of Mexican territory, you can still renew past the expiration date and notify any change after the 90 days deadline.
Since this special measure is about to end, INM officers have been giving priority to anyone whose temporary residency is about to expire, or anyone whose temporary residency has already expired to make it on time before this measurement officially ends.

When would I know it ended?

It will get published at the Diario Oficial de la Federeción, an official source of information in regards to federal government matters. If it’s not published there, it’s just hearsay.
For now, the ending of this special measurement is still just a rumor, but we have been told that it could be officially over within this and next week.

This will also tighten things up with Registro Nacional de Extranjeros, also known as Regularization Program.

We will update any relevant changes about this with links to the official source of information, stay tuned and spread the word.

INM Querétaro office changes.

For now, you can only be given an appointment for the following procedures:
-Status Changes
-VISAS
-Regularization
-Employers registration and updates

Appointments are now reaching Dec 16th.

Your process can be sorted out the same day, depending on the office, they will giving spots every day deoending on their availability, and this is available for the following procedures:
-Renewal
-Replacement
-Exchange (CANJE, which is only for those who have a temporary or permanent residency visa in their passport)

If you need to do any immigration procedure, be aware of this.

Appointments are now all booked untill the begining of January 2023. A very important thing you need to get schedule is the online application, which you can find at this link:

For those coming to do a CANJE, come and get your appointment as soon as you arrive, the officers will give you an appointment before your 30 days timeframe expires, those are available for around October, as well as for cards replacement. Other procedures get regular appointments up to the office's availability.

If you have an emergency, either if it's medical, work or of any kind, you'll get a sooner appointment and may get all the process sorted out the same day, up to INM's consideration if your case is an emergency or not, and if they have plastic for the issuance of your residency card.
