Who remembers the little orange Unicef boxes. Unicef is a children's help arm of the United Nations and raises much of it's funds duinrg the Halloween period. No longer with the boxes. They discontinued them during the Covid pandemic. But we can donate online. So today is a great day to support the kids of the world....as we "Play It Forward" with Fleetwood Mac and "Don't Stop" ....the Kindness.

Nothing like some health issues to make you look back at your life with better focus and clarity. It's 1984, I'm in love and about to get married. Life was about to change and life was certainly good. Lionel Ritchie's music was a big part of those "happy looking forward to the future times" Singing along to "Stuck on You" I was!!
Great memories of that period. Just saying; and I know I; 'm not unique. I'm sure you have many of the same if you look back.
These guys have given the song renewed popularity and Lionel;s song is back on the Top 10 Pop List.
Herels their version in duet from The View, television show. Apparently one of the judges, Mr. Snoop Doggy himself brought the two together for the performance.

It's fun Friday and we all know that laughter is the best medicine. So here I am feeling better than 50^ percent and much less than 100 percent...day 46 of this health hiccup (I jess of course) With the help of AI graphics I show you the before Bob and the current Bob...in one below I even look like Bob Newhart.
Being tempted with Mexico's magic elixir, a shot of Tequila and a pill from one of those not-licensed medical guys in a small hut up in the hills...And I'm holding back because I made a promise to stop tequila and cerveza during one of my worst days, in a prayer where I asked only for excellent care for my dogs and my daughters to know how much they are loved if my time had come...Of course my fingers crossed at the time.

Would You Support The Dream Weaver Project For One Special Local Youth When You Join Us Saturday January 18 For One Amazing Night Concert Style Performances. Unique To The 2025 Festival.
I owned this album, I'm sure many of you did to. And it inspired the name we want to give to a new addition to our fundraising for 2025 and beyond. Yes we are the Rockin' Rebels For Causes we believe in. The Paraiso Society.
Great Music First, Mucho Fun, Feeling Young Always And For Worthy Local Causes...it makes all the fun (and a little bit of effort) make sense for us on The Paraiso Society. and the big-hearted Performers that support us. Holding hands together (well not literally) we say "We Are Blessed" and we can try to do more, do better. Join us please, of course!

Our current thought is that all fundraising at the big Saturday night event January 18, we are working on that comes from draws, auctions and games of chance will go to the Dream Weaver Fund...a make a wish donation to a selected youth from the region who is terminally ill or permanently disabled. So not a new idea to help in any way, but we want to bring a smile or two hopefully into the life of at least one special local young person and his/her family from Zee or region, each year.

Our commitment to our capital campaign for a community centre is as strong as ever. A centre for Street Animal rescue focusing on senior animals and the very young animals with efforts towards neutering and medical treatments, ,and practice and performance facilities for disadvantaged kids to rock and blue stock the stages just like our Fest Performers do. We're doubling down on our efforts to include deserving youth on our Fest stages and making sure we always have clinic opportunities for youth when our high level Performers are here in Zee and region.

Soon You Can Wear The Shirt That Says "I'm Rockin For Dreams And Smiles" or the I'm Rockin for "Street Animal Rescue" or "Deserving Kids That Want To Rock" Your call. Kids and Animals!
