A DEVOTION IN A BOTTLE
My w**e is not perfect. It is complete.
It carries my dreams, my hopes, my desires, my love, and a little piece of my and my family’s soul.
In this w**e, I surrender my fears, my doubts, my obsessions, and my pursuit of perfection. I free myself from expectations and devote my heart, my hands, and my craft to capturing time and place in a bottle.
I do not seek to conquer nature, nor to impose my will upon it. I seek to understand it, to embrace its beauty, its imperfections, and its mysteries. To accept what it offers and give the very best of myself in return.
My w**e must be true to itself, just as I must learn to be true to myself.
It is not inflexible. It is alive. It finds itself with every passing year, every harvest, every journey around the sun. It evolves with the seasons, shaped by the earth, the sun, the wind, and the passage of time.
No two harvests will ever be the same, just as no two moments in life can ever be repeated. And therein lies its beauty.
I have come to understand that making w**e is not about achieving perfection. It is about being present. About having the humility to listen to nature, the courage to accept uncertainty, and the faith to surrender to something greater than myself.
My craft is not to erase nature’s imperfections, but to discover the beauty within them.
Every bottle becomes a testament to a particular moment in my life, a particular season, a particular place. An expression of everything nature has given me and everything I have given in return.
And when that bottle is opened, I hope it offers more than w**e. I hope it offers a moment of connection, of gratitude, of joy. A reminder that the most beautiful things in life are not always those we seek to perfect, but those we learn to love completely.
I make this w**e not for recognition, not for perfection, but for the simple privilege of creating something with love.
My w**e is my surrender. My craft is my prayer. My love is my offering.
A devotion in a bottle.
