🗓️ How to Read the Expiration Date on Your Mexican Residency Card

On the card, you’ll see two important dates:

Fecha de expedición (Date of expedition): the day your card was issued.

Fecha de vencimiento (Date of expiration): the day your residency expires.

For example, if your card shows:

Fecha de expedición: 30/11/2025
→ This means 30 November 2025 (NOT March 11).

Fecha de vencimiento: 29/11/2026
→ This means 29 November 2026.
