MAC Models was a pioneering modeling agency in Mexico, founded in 1999 with the mission to break traditional beauty standards and promote diversity. In an industry where modeling agencies favored slim bodies and fine features, MAC Models chose to highlight Mexican beauty in all its forms, from various body types to diverse faces, showcasing the freshness and authentic charm of our race. The agency
became a reference in the industry, collaborating with renowned brands such as L’Oréal, Joss Claude, Work, and top Mexican designers like Guillermo León, Ernesto Hernández, and Lucero Estévez. Additionally, the agency had a presence in major media, including TV Azteca programs like "Con Sello de Mujer" and Telehit with "Válvula de Escape". MAC Models was more than just an agency; it was a movement that challenged traditional notions of beauty, proving that true Mexican beauty lies in the diversity of bodies, faces, and ages. This approach allowed many of our models to gain recognition in television, social media, and the audiovisual industry. Throughout its brief but impactful existence, the agency became a key platform for launching talents who are now recognized in various fields of entertainment and advertising. The agency was inaugurated in 2001 in Metepec, with Yordi Rosado as godfather. After three years, I decided to close MAC Models in 2003 for personal reasons, but its legacy endures as proof that vision, diversity, and determination can transform an industry.
