This photo conveys so well the 'togetherness' I felt at this year's Colloquium. Perhaps it's the difficult times we're in but the spirit of this year's Roundtable was positive despite the challenges we face. Thank you for joining this year's forum. Many of you shared with me your appreciation for the quality of the presentations, the new ideas, and the active discussions with colleagues, which you valued. One comment echoed by all -- how glad we all were to have an occasion to be together, to be informed and to be inspired by each other. I look forward to seeing you next year under a new name you all delivered with the help of AI – Global Colloquium on Collaboration and Competitiveness.

Last week, I joined the Annual Symposium of the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility to discuss how workplace diversity and inclusion can happen in the changed work world emerging post-pandemic to an audience of executives and managers from Fortune 500 companies. Where we work, how we work, with whom we work comprise the ever-shifting questions which corporate leaders and workers must now navigate. The old 5-day/week work world has changed to a combined remote, hybrid and in-office model that's here to stay. Given this scenario, policies on how performance and productivity are measured poses a challenge to companies which are still wrestling with the transition from the work world we knew to the one before us. If in the old model, women and people of color may not be 'seen', how can their talents and performance be recognized when they are not physically 'seen'? How do you prevent 'invisibility' that curtails career growth?

Next February, I am convening senior HR and Diversity Officers here in Washington, DC at the Colloquium on Global Diversity to share initiatives to create a corporate policy 'infrastructure' that recognizes the changed arena in which we now work.
