Talogy Mexico donated the needed pantries for this month and was able to provide them to the families, after a nutritional conference about how to read the nutrition labels of products to ensure high-quality foods and avoid those that might not be beneficial.

The Kristen Foundation is a non-profit civil association founded 14 years ago, implementing different detection and medical treatment programs for children and babies, also supporting their parents. The slogan “Taking care of life from its origin” pretty much summarizes their cause.

Some of their initiatives are:
- Diagnosis of heart disorders and early cardiac surgeries
- Genetic tests and endoscopic fetal surgeries when babies in utero present malformations in vital organs
- Diagnosis and support for pregnancy diseases such as preeclampsia and psycho-emotional care for pregnant women and families
- Neuro-therapies and early stimulation for babies and infants

As part of their initiatives, they are giving nutritional follow-up to 50 babies who were born prematurely, during their first year of life. In addition to monitoring their growth and overall health, the family is given nutritional advice to ensure that the mother (who is often lactating) and the baby (when they start solid food) can receive the proper nutrition. As they know that often the families do not have the resources needed to buy what is necessary to have a balanced diet, they are provided with pantries.

More initiatives are to come in alliance with Talogy Mexico, as we are foreseeing a Golf Charity Event the 4th of November, as well as the possibility of being part of their monthly benefactors providing support and tax-deductible funds.
