Here I have written out more about what I do.
Q: What do I do?
I am in the creativity business. I help people find their creative edge.
Through the close contact and support of his or her projects the client is able to find the source of their creativity. Certain practices and exercises help the person to become aligned with their creative self.
Q: What makes a person creative?
How does one define creativity?
Am I creative if I draw a picture, write a story, or cook an amazing meal?
Well in actuality creativity is the very definition to be human. We are creativity itself. We are all gifted with talents of sorts. Whether they be analytical, visual, auditory, or tactile.
Q: Where does creativity stop? Where does creativity start?
These questions are of valuable consideration seeing how creative people are some of the most innovative and originators of cultural by-products that we find useful or beneficial to our lives.
Are we not all cultural by-products ourselves?
Through exploration of your creative blocks we can begin to develop our imagination, ambition, and playfulness.
It is through play that we can truly find our true creative selves.
Language itself is a creative endeavor yet we so rarely consider language some by-product of creation.
Therefore the paradigm shift that I take with you is this idea of being able to communicate with a deeper side of yourself. Through arts modalities we explore the right direction in which to get you to your personal goals.
Q: What does a session look like?
First off the session is tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. For example, if someone comes in for consultation the question that gets the conversation going is:
**What would you like to achieve? What project has been on your mind but you have not been able to create or launch?
**What have you always wanted to do? What were you told that you couldn’t be or do?
**How would it look in your life if you did do accomplish this goal or achievement?
**What would it feel like? What would it sound like? What would it taste like? What would it smell like?
With these questions guiding our consultation we can begin to plan ways, strategies, and techniques that fit with your goals.
For example, if someone always wanted to start a new hobbie, project, or business, then how can we make moves in that direction of actualization? Through these strategies you begin to unfold and see what makes you really truly feel gratified and happy in your life.
There is a sort of relearning, readjustment, resetting of your current mental habits. Neuroscience tells us that we can change the patterns of our brain by repetition of new habits. As a result of our work together you will be able to find new ways of thinking, being, expressing, and cultivating your greatest ideas.
Through the expressive arts we can find our true calling and we can liberate ourselves from being bounded by conventional rules. With the use of these methods we can begin to explore and develop appropriate practices to strengthen your will for creative growth.
Take the journey with me and find out what true creativity is and how you can maximize it.
