Know the Real Numbers Before You Book
Destination weddings in Mexico vary. Most couples spend $6K–$15K USD at resorts and $15K+ for custom private venues with full design + vendor services. Mexico can save you up to 25–40% than a US/Canada wedding, but costs vary with guest count and choices.

2. All-Inclusive Resort 🏝️vs Private Venue 🪩
Your Venue Changes Everything
Resorts: All-inclusive packages + convenience. Most often the guests actually pay for the wedding through room blocks. Thus, the seemingly lower cost to the couple. Less flexibility to bring your own preferred vendors.
Private venues: Full creative control + exclusivity but unless you hired a planner you’ll coordinate vendors and logistics.
Both have perks. Choose based on the experience you want, not price alone.

3. Weather Realities 🌡️
Rain Happens. Best months for dry, warm weather: Dec–Apr 🌅 which is also peak season. Pricing will vary based on demand.
Rainier/hurricane season: Jun–Oct ⛈️ you can find great deals during this season, but odds of rain are very high and it’s also very hot and humid.
We don’t recommend it, but we won’t stop you. Storms aren’t guaranteed but backup plans are essential for outdoor options.

It’s More Than Just the Wedding Day
One of the main perks of a destination wedding during peak season is that your guests will be excited for a little winter escape. You’re also planning a mini vacation for them: flights, transfers, hotels, welcome events, activities, and communication all add up.
