Canada and Mexico have a $56 billion trade relationship.
Most Canadians don't think about that number. They think about Canada–U.S. trade. They think about China. Mexico tends to be an afterthought.
But Mexico is actually Canada's third-largest single-country trading partner, and Canadian direct investment in Mexico reached $46.4 billion in 2024. Global Affairs Canada

That's a sign of a real economic partnership; one that touches automotive, agriculture, technology, and energy. And here's the part that's still catching up: the people side of this relationship.
Canadian companies are investing in Mexico. They're sourcing from Mexico. More and more, they're hiring in Mexico too; not just for manufacturing, but for tech, operations, customer experience, and professional services.
The trade infrastructure between our two countries is mature. The people infrastructure; how you actually hire, pay, and manage a team member in Mexico compliantly, is where most Canadian companies are still figuring it out.
That's the gap we're here to close.
