This is probably my favorite book on pe**te of all time. Truthfully the literature on Pe**te is extremely lacking. There just isn’t that much out there.

This is a very good collection of history, ethnology, and journal articles about the Wixarika people.

I especially like Stacy Scahaafer’s article on pe**te and the stories by Marakame Ramon Silva.

I recommend this book to people who want to know more about the Mexican indigenous people users and their very interesting culture. Of course, one can never learn everything there is to know about an indigenous culture from a book. But this is a great introduction!

Each trip to the desert is different. Our goal is to safely bring serious seekers to the place where they can heal themselves.
Psychedelic healing retreats usually are inside, but we want you to be in a natural setting at night with a fire.

Our trips aren’t easy, and we aren’t looking for people to come for an experience. We are only here to help people with healing.

I always love the plants that live between rocks. They develop unique personalities with strange shapes from being surrounded by unmoving objects.

Spring is coming to the Chihuahuan desert- flowers will be here soon! Hopefully we will visit soon before the sun and heat shortens the days down to pleasant mornings and scorching afternoons. I

This plant lives in the desert, in the rains and in the droughts, in sun that will burn us in hours.
And somehow this plant manages to be as happy as any cultivated plant. Nature provides!

I would love to find more paintings by Immanuel. This one we bought in Tucson. Apparently a ceramic store on Mt Lemmon was trying to sell this before a fire came through and destroyed the store. It wasn’t dramatically rescued but still glad it wasn’t destroyed!

It was sweet to see these old Lophophora williamsii that I grafted 6 years ago still living at my friends house.
These were basically abandoned plants that I couldn’t take with me when I left Arizona.

A lot of people aren’t into grafting, but I find it to be a fun hobby, especially for people are impatient or aren’t good at growing cactus.
They produce a lot of seeds as well.
Lately I’ve become more focused on learning to cultivate seeds and have not made a graft in a long time.
